Gen 0-P

Like the other Gen 0s, the Gen 0-P was used to test a concept for a parachute system. The Gen 0-P used a spring from the Gen 0-S as well as a Gen 3-S release mechanism and a cardboard parachute tube.

Gen 1-P

The Gen 1-P was a 3D printed version of the Gen 0-P, which replaced the scavenged tube and release mechanism with integrated versions that were almost identical in form to the ones used in the Gen 4-S.

Gen 2-P

The Gen 2-P was the first flight ready parachute system and flew a successful test. The Gen 2-P was made up of a Gen 1-P pilot parachute launcher and a main parachute tube, all of which was mounted on the upper segment of the first generation parachute test payload. It, along with the payload it was mounted on, was destroyed during the PSCC tests.
