Project Redirect is a large project that consists of many milestones that must be completed for a successful high altitude balloon flight. The milestones that need to be completed can be separated into two phases.
Phase 1 is currently active. The goals of phase 1 are as follows:
- Setup and test the FTS (Flight Test System).
- Discover the optimal design for a guided payload.
- Develop and test the guidance software.
At the completion of phase 1, we will have a final design for the payload as well as completed guidance software. Phase 1 is estimated to take 2-6 months for completion at which point phase 2 will become active.
